I enrolled the help of a friend who created the graffiti text for me, I then pieced all of it together with the white background. The aim for me was to have a stroke effect on screen that would lead to the text that would mask out. I had never achieved this before and since I had no plugins for it I decided to draw the lines in photoshop with a calligraphy brush and mask them in as though they were being drawn.
To get the text off screen I used a feathered mask as reverse graffiti spray.
Watchtower Films
I was given this job at the beginning of my final year at Uni, it was a job for two broadcast students who run the film company 'Watchtower Films'.
The film is about a boy in a well to do area trying to fit in with the wrong crowd and facing up to the fact that it is the wrong idea. Therefore I decided for the credits I would aim to give a graffiti look to them.
