With the name of the company being a slightly common one, and with the industry being so large, there was a temptation to go down the typical rout of, lots of blue, possibly a phone or circuit being thrown in somewhere. But that wasn't going to happen as I wanted to display this company as the reliable business they are and give the impression that this business was established and offer people the reassurance that this is the business to choose. The brief was to create a logo that was going to be predominantly used on the web. This logo can be used in a variety of colours, each service is broken down on the website and given it's own colour so that in the long run if this becomes a seperate branch the colour will be associated with that branch.

The website is the main seller for commSave, most clients who call them will do so from the website. This website was designed to be clear and consice, showing only relevent information. We kept copy to a minimum and pointed to services as often as possible, encouraging the user to call commSave on every page. The user can listen to the elevator pitch by use of an flash audio player that loads in a seperate window. In addition to this the user has a free call facility that calls through the web. If this is too convenient however, they can request a call back. This form sends an email direct to commSaves call centre and the client is called back at the time they request.

A continuing feature in this branding is to keep it clean and simple and to the point, this was followed through with the outer folder, keeping as much white space as possible, and keeping the key points of the copy easily visible. One other feature that continues throughout the other stationary and contract papers is the curved corner. The folder as a curve on the front cover that just reveals the top right corner. Also the inside flap has a curve next to the business card slits, this curve follows on with the curve of the business card, which also reveals the logo and web address.

The stationary again followed the same branding styling as the outer folder. They key to the business card is the curve, this gives the card a unique look and feel, it's surprising how much a slight change in cards shape affects peoples reactions when holding it.
