
Euronics advertising in the UK use a plug as a character to promote their stores, the Euronics brand in Ireland are not permitted to use this character, so a new character was needed. This is paddy plug, the wires out of the top of his 'head' are coloured to suit the colour of the Irish flag, to make him unique to Ireland. The character is therefore recogniseable to Euronics however is unique to Ireland.


Each company that joins Euronics needs re-branding and their store set up with new departmental signage. Most will be directed to Passion for Creative for this, however some do have their own choice for this. To prepare for this signage was set up to be branded individually, giving Euronics consistent branding throughout it's stores.


Ads for Euronics are put together to fit individual branding. These ads are all identical apart from the branding for the specific Euronics store.

Euronics is Europe’s leading electrical retailer. The Irish arm consists of 36 independent stores nationwide. They asked for help to coordinate their sales and marketing strategy. Much of our time is now spent re-branding new and existing member stores. This involves traveling up and down the country, meeting management and staff, surveying sites, taking photographs and offering advice on how best to incorporate the Euronics branding and improve shop layout. In fact,ost of their marketing and design, including signage, point of sale, promotional literature, press and radio advertising is all done through Passion.
