Focus's existing logo used various beams expanding from the word 'focus'. They wanted this logo refreshing, so the font was updated from the original thin italic sans serif font and the beams were compressed and 'focused' to one central point, almost giving the impression of a lens. The key to this logo is that type and curved lines can be used in any colour.

The concept of the marketing for focus was to use striking images impactful images to grab the attention of the audience and draw them in to the inspirational quotes on the banners. This was to show the customers how useful these banners could be at grabbing the attention of your target audience.

Using a tried and tested method a direct mail strategy was developed, advertising their key messages down the side of their letter, giving the reader a summary of the letter. These letters were sent to all active, lapsed, cold and targeted prospects, some by post in the outer folders (below) and others were sent in an email campaign.

To date the design of the site is still just that...a design. The concept of this design is that firstly half of the page is taken up by a striking image and quote taken from the marketing campaign of the banners. Secondly it will use simple code to load a random style sheet on the opening of the site, by doing this it keeps what could be a generally static site dynamic, and at the same rate shows the entire marketing campaign by simply changing the colours and main image.

Focus Visual Communication
Focus Visual Communication designs and produces a wide range of banner stands and display systems for seminars, conferences, exhibitions and events. They requested a re-brand of their business and so we refreshed their corporate logo and designed new templates for their brochure, stationery and website. Using the new branding a direct mail & email campaign was created for various customer categories - active, lapsed, cold and targeted prospects.
