To accompany their entry for the Irish Business Hairdressing Awards 2007, I put together a presentation that consisted of two booklets (one for each entry). Each page featured one of the questions needed to be answered as part of the application. Each page was customised mixing images with flat 2D graphics, to assist the copy that answered each question. These booklets were sent in a record box that had been painted in the companies recognisable colour of orange and branded with vinyls of their logo.

The website was my first battle with CSS, this is a site that is designed to advertise their unique look and attitude and to push them further and encourage more people outside Waterford to travel to Foxy Chopper for not only their hair style. This site uses both transparent png's and gifs within the header, the png's are shown in all browsers apart from IE 6, in which the gif's are used instead.
Foxy Chopper
Foxy Chopper is a hair salon with a difference. It occupies a beautifully restored Georgian building in the heart of Waterford city. It’s fun, fashionable and funky, strictly for the young and young at heart. They needed a presentation designing to accompany their entry for the Irish Business Hairdressing Awards 2007. Such was the quality of the presentation that they scooped first prize, winning the title of Salon Business Newcomer of the Year. To help boost their profile a website was put together pushing their status and individual style as a salon.
