The signage was key to the store standing out and drawing customers in. The sign is a sheet that is back lit. This stands 10ft above the entrance and can be seen from a great distance day / night.

The internal point of sale was also key. High ceilings allowed for key images and messages to be shown to promote the brand and also guide people around the store.

PROMOTIONAL:

For Joyces grand opening mailers were sent out by the postal service showing all the latest offers and pushing the new location. Along with the newest store they arranged a new card system that could be used as to keep credit on for the store. The campaign to promote this was simple and very effective. The idea was to feature people from various backgrounds showing the benefit they could get from the card. As it could be a gift and just a useful item for saving money or getting credit for companies who were on the road and needed tools.

Joyces Homecentre is a locally owned, family run business, specialising in DIY and electrical appliances. As an independent Irish operator, it faced stiff competition from the larger British chains and needed to punch above its weight to succeed. They asked for assistance in opening a new store in a retail park on the outskirts of town. And so we helped with their internal and external signage, press and radio advertising, direct mail and launch event. The whole exercise was a great success. The store is trading well and management, staff and customers are very pleased.
