The job was to rejuvenate the current brand. The word 'suir' is the name of the river that runs through Waterford. Most of Suirways local buses run to and from the towns along this river which is the message we wanted to emphasise in the logo showing a flowing shape and movement within.

The website was my last site using tables. I wanted to give the site a clean feel that followed the new branding. I also didn't want my design to be dictated be the fact I was using tables. I created the design the same way as any other and then sliced it to death and made sure all the images lined up. It's fair to say this job made me find the time I didn't really have to learn CSS and make my job much easier.

Part of the job was to develop the timetables and promotional print work to be sent around the county. The timetable was created as a small booklet so that it would be easily portable, this was left in local shops and bus depot's and was also sent out to existing customers in their database a long with letters and leaflets promoting the new branding and services.

Suirway had an existing fleet of old and new coaches and buses of varying shape and sizes. When the livery was created it was developed to be dynamic so that the final tweaking of the positioning of the graphics was down to the sign maker. The sign maker had guidlines to maintain for example making sure that the flowing graphic, logo and strapline was always on the side and the logo was always at the rear of the graphic.
Suirway Bus & Coach Services
Suirway is one of the largest coach hire and bus companies in the south east. Their brand had become a bit jaded over the years and they wanted it to get a new lease of life. The job was to re-designed their logo, livery and website, and on top of this they were given lots of advice on sales and marketing strategy. The work was well received by the management, staff and general public, all of whom have commented on how well the company now looks and feels.
